ARMCHAIR 402
ALVAR AALTO FOR ARTEK C.1960S
The 402 Armchair was first introduced by Alvar Aalto in 1933 at the Milan Triennale. The distinguishable silluette is created from a single piece of wood which is bent, formed, and split in half to make the armrests. This particular example was produced in the late 60s in Finland and imported to the United States by ICF. The very special and original upholstry is an orange gradient checker pattern. Original label intact.
