1950s “A Fasce Verticale” pendant lamp, model 4039, designed by Massimo Vignelli for Venini. Also known as the “Cipolla” lamp which translates to the onion lamp. This design came at the start of Vignelli’s expansive career and was produced by the Murano glass specialist, Venini. Bulbous blown glass paired with a colorful striped design makes us believe if this was an onion it would taste like a piece of orange candy.
