Designed by Gaetano Pesce for the TBWA/Chiat/Day NYC office in 1994, this sculptural coffee table features a lively resin top with a smiling face and the words "I Am With You" handwritten into the resin. Supported by wiry steel legs and soft, rubber feet imbued with movement and personality, the table is springy, unsteady at times, and an embodiment of Pesce's playful relationship with insecurity. Beautiful, odd, and functional - this is a caring table. We imagine the workers at TBWA/Chiat/Day sitting down with a friend beside them.
