TBWA/CHIAT/DAY SYMBOLIC LOCKER SCULPTURE
GAETANO PESCE c.1994
This sculptural relief was originally a locker door at the 1994 NYC TBWA/Chiat/Day office designed by Gaetano Pesce. With no assigned desks or offices, employees stored their belongings in these vibrant, painted lockers - each one entirely unique - and the only assigned space.
A large, stylized umbrella is sculpted across the center of this panel, surrounded by varying brushtrokes and shades of yellow, orange, and slight reds.
