Waffle Table designed by Gaetano Pesce in 1994 for the Chiat/Day office in New York. Only about 10 unique pieces were designed for the advertising firm making this example extremely rare. The table is constructed from poured resin in vivid, layered colors. Its thick circular top rests on sculpted legs that appear to melt into the floor, turning utility into something full of motion. Because of the resin, the table is not entirely rigid, offering a highly sensorial experience. Peering underneath, the name becomes apparent as it appears very similar to a waffle.
